Nvidia Problem

My problem is..when the start up page of civ3 come out(after the movie played)..the screen goes mess and i can't see anything clear..all mess...
I think there's something wrong with my nVidia video card.this is my pc..

pentium 4
nVidia GeForce2 Mx/MMX 64MB

before this..i'm playing civ3 using my old pc which is use SiS system and not nVidia video card and everything alright

so,is there anyone use same video card as mine..?

and how to check the video card version?
should i update the driver to play civ3?
or is my problem also related to my monitor?

Hi,

89% driver problem, check out the nvidia web site.
What directX have you installed?

I don't have the same card but i do have an nvidia card and it goes very odd when it needs updating!

Also check what version of civ you have and update it if its less then 1.22f

Do the graphics seem to clash into each other? if yes, then its 87% a driver problem.

Shouldn't be anything to with your screen, unless it can't display the needed refresh rate, if it can't, that would make it go all odd and seem like the graphics card.
If poss check what refresh rate you have on to make sure.
