IMHO, this game has the best intro video of the series. However, I notice that it has some colour banding. I wonder if others see it, or if it is just my monitor/configuration.
On my old monitor, the banding is slight. Mainly see it during the foggy soldier sequence and the sky with the rocket. On my new monitor, in SDR SRGB mode, the banding is about the same. In HDR mode, the banding is severe.
I connected my PC to my LG C1 in HDR mode and the banding is back to being slight. I presume the video itself has some banding, and that is what I see. I’m just not sure why banding seems so bad on my HDR monitor.
Anyone with a console version using HDR see banding in the video?
