Only 1 player was brave enough to take on Sid this update. AutomatedTeller submitted a 1880 AD Small Sid Cultural 20k game for 3522 points.

killercane won G-III Eta, with Automated Teller taking second. G-III Theta has begun: Monarch/Diplomatic/Huge.

Thanks for the welcome. I have always been lurking the HOF forums and tables. I used to play CIV3 and PTW unpatched, so I could not submit saves (a fact I painfully learned after playing 99% of a huge histo game). Having got C3C earlier in the year I have been slowly improving and have submitted a few games over the course of the year.

The Gauntlet was a deity game wasn't it? That's still above my comfort zone.

Scratcher, good to see you in the HOF! With this month's Gauntlet at Monarch difficulty, I should be able submit one, even with real life getting in the way. In fact, I really should get back to submitting more than one game a month to the HOF. Since that Huge Emperor Histographic run, I have been kinda sick of Civ3. (I know, I shouldn't say it!) But I do have a spaceship game going right now. I'll see how that goes.

Hi Spiffykeen7744, I will have a look this month if it is at Monarch level.

I know what you mean about the Histo. I only did a standard size map for my Histo (and that really bored me to tears ). If I tried a huge map I would probably commit suicide .

However, a few quick diplo games put me right back into the civ3 mood.

for what it's worth - I was not any sort of deity player when I did my first gauntlet. You actually get a fair amount of feedback and support from people here - I learned a lot about fast research from the people here.
