My cousin and I started back into Civ after a couple months off. We played like we normally do:
Disable start bias
quick combat/movement
huge continents
marathon
NO time victory
the rest all default
We started a game 5/6/13, loaded it a few times since then, played fine. We decided to restart, 5/8/13 with a very odd problem.
We were talking about our starts and realized that they were different on eachothers screens. The placement of our starts seemed to coincide, however resources varied tremendously. We tried it a few times to no avail, switching hosts, etc.

very similar problem, slightly different, different map, etc. No response.
Please let me know of any attempt of solution, we both verified our files, and tried again, no fix.
Let me know if you need SS of anything to help, will do.
PS: this is not map specific, this is not an issue with VPN, have tried verifying file content, etc...
