Unlikely (for various reasons having to do with those who were instrumental in it being developed leaving Firaxis), but you never know. It'd probably sell well enough to make back its development cost, but is unlikely to be a big hit.

If you refer to Firaxis'poll on their website about what game we would enjoy to see, Alpha Centauri will be the next game Firaxis will make, before Colonization 2.
