Everyone knows the civ-phrase "one more turn". It applies well to Old World. But more often then not, I find myself bargaining to play until my current leader's death (rinse and repeat) rather than one more turn.

I've had some bad luck recently acquiring early courtiers, leaving an underdeveloped heir eventually claiming the throne. That's generally when things go sideways.

Besides Nebbie. +1 for tutor child mission!

don't despair ! Kid leaders tend to get nice events.

Very satisfying when the turn ends with everything consumed! Though sometimes it's nice to save orders to earn some extra $$ early game...gotta weigh that against the satisfaction.

Interesting chat about that happening in Maddie's stream earlier today. Is it better to store excess orders for money?

Let's investigate:
- an order nets you 10 money if excess at end of the turn.
- an order can chop 20 wood which can then be sold for ~20 money.
- an order can harvest some goods which can be sold for > 10 money.

It is nearly always better to chop/harvest (if you can) than to let it go excess at the end of turn.

So we should have an eye on workers, who potentially are anyway on their way from one job to another, "en passant".

Haha. That's an old one!
