Provolution
Sage of Quatronia
One Warlord Perspective on Gameplay
First out, our Warlord NZL lead our faction, and he sits on the Triad Council with Shattered and Strider, now replaced with Ballazic and Aluminum Knight.
I can only argue our strategy properly, when we have gotten up the Warlord City. Yet, we may provide a strategic tapestry.
The City will be 2 tiles north and 1 tile east of pigs, as Daveshack pointed out, in order to be a production city and to cover Babylonian transgressions through the mountain passes in the long term.
Spanish War I see conducted as this, starting next playsession today:
1. We discover writing a turn from now, and immediately open borders with Hatshepsut of Spain, and let religion flow in. We also open with Babylonia.
2. We send our scout westwards from Eastern Babylonia and through Babylonia, mapping Babylonia and the Northern Coasts, and then follow the coasts towards Spain and scout there, in good time prior to the War.
3. When NZL finally settles our city, we build a monument to expand our northern border.
4. Following the build of our monument, we build two horse-archers, scout has mapped Spanish land by now, and we should have gotten Spanish religion by now. This Horse Archer goes for a plunder and kidnap campaign as soon as we have gotten Hinduism, waiting on the border of Spain.
5.Warlord City builds Barracks
6. Warlord City builds City Garrison Archer
7. Warlord City builds Stable (We should have Iron Working by now)
8. Warlord City builds Promoted Horseman Archers X 2 (plus needed replacements if initial 2 Horseman Archers lost)
9. Warlord City builds Promoted Swordsmen (City Raiders) X 2
10 Warlord City builds Promoted Archers (First Strike) X2
If we observe Spain got mostly Warrior Garrisons, we accelerate plans, and attack right away with Horseman Archers.
