Highlights included his (serious) "If you barfed on you key board whould you wash it or get a new one thread" and the "I am so messed up right now that I would kiss ming "post. All his posts that evening had very jumbled spelling and and grammer and the content was all over the place.

You know I had a long chat with Alci yesterday and there are (unfortunately) some terrible and scandalous threads. Don't ask me examples, I refuse to enumerate the numerous and revolting things some people can say in OT. Nevertheless, the Civ related section seems to be quite ok.

I too registered my name over at the FREAK SHOW, and I do have to admit, It would be alot of fun to luanch an attack on them....
But we couldn't do it in the name of CFC -- they are alot bigger than we are, and never pick a fight you can't win.... But there are other ways... mIRC anyone???

That's the thrid time I have read here that someones advicates attacking another forum, much the way Civfanatics was assaulted by kraftwerk just recently.

I cannot see the humor in destroying someone else's fun in this manner, to attack others in the name of laughs, and to think it is cute.

If any civfanatic did such a thing, I would be of a minf to ask that they be permanatly banned from here, as it would reflect badly on everyone of us as posters and people.

In fact, 2 Apolyton posters did exactly that, two yeras ago, they attacked another forum and badly spammed it with Apolyton propagnda, and both were lifetime banned from Apolyton for such action.

Enough of this childish "let's get them" nonsense, for in truth, many of "them" are us!

There are at least a dozen or more Civfanatics who are also poly poster, including myself (as Chris 62), Drake, Slowwhand, Boann, Smash, and several others, including even Thunderfall, who has answered questions about Civfanatics at Apolyton, and Apolyton's MarkG and DanQ have appeared here to answer questions about their site.

The site heads don't see it as enemy sites dueling for the top spot, so why should you? And please, no comments about "it's all in fun", or "we are only kidding", because that's just as infantile as the threat itself.

Enough of this.

I never registered at Apolyton. Why? THough I found it before I found CFC I got lost and confused and could find the civ section on the regular site or the fourum and was being to lazy to realize where th elinks were.
