So I've been playing the entire game as Egypt, wonder-spamming, and deciding early on that I was going to go for a science victory (my culture wasn't great most of the game). I've badly out-teched everyone, but the rest of the world - every single other civilization except maybe one autocratic - is an Order civ, while I'm Freedom. To my south, the Roman Empire has a huge but slightly antiquated army. And I thought to myself - self, you're not going to launch a spaceship and cowardly flee to a planet featured in a game more than ten years old which desperately needs to be remade because it was awesome. Hell no! You need to liberate (and possibly turn into radioactive jelly) the rest of the world! Liberation!

I'm resource poor but technologically sophisticated, so it will be imperative to seize strategic resources like aluminum (although my production is pretty limited with only 3 cities). Also, I kind of doubt I'll be able to "win" this way, but we'll see how far I get! If Rome falls quickly, I may be able to steamroll the rest of the world, though I have exactly 0 ships.

Operation Freedom, commence.

I lol'd. :goodjob:

Though, really, I hope they grind your "Free People" into the radioactive wasteland. Being of the People's Republic of Morocco, I must support my fellow Chairmembers.

I approve of any game that involves nukes, though. Too many people end it before the real action begins.

Meh. I would just nuke everything.

Yeah, that's what I usually do, but I don't have enough uranium! I used one nuclear missile to break their initial defenses, and the other on 42 pop Rome. Now I'm rolling up their cities - I think I got lucky and all of Rome's forces were in the other continent fighting a war with Greece. So they're going to fall really quickly, I think. Then I'm not sure what to do.

Meh, that turned out to be not that much fun at all. I dunno why Rome had such a good military score, because I didn't see any resistance at all. Basically crushed them in fifteen turns, took all their major cities cept the capital (they gave me the last three for peace). I don't really feel like chasing down their remaining like 12 cities, four of which are founded one one tile islands. I was hoping for some epic under-teched hordes fighting against the super-elite forces of the Egyptians, but I think I killed maybe 8 units total that entire war. Bah. Oh well.
