I am inspired by Rev mod for Civ 4 and votes in some discussions.
It is natural that some civilizations becomes others - tribes unify, big empires fall to pieces, colonies declares independence etc.
Other thing - it is somewhat annoying (for me) to have ancient Americans of US (i think it is the best example - I have nothing against Americans) or Celts and Romans near France...
I am intrested in list of civilizations (or nations etc.) that becomes other. And the name of proceses between each.
Example (I am not very good in history):
England -> [independence declaration] -> U.S.A.
Roman Empire -> [decay] -> Bizantium
I appeal to modders to implement this knowlege into game ASAP ;-)
