Sure would like to get 50k.

I took a day off of civ to let mapfinder do it's stuff. Can't run overnight cause it has frequent errors and I have to bump it. I finally got an acceptable map after 5 hours, and it had a domination limit of 4300 and 1 grassland cow and two plains cows. I've set up two 4 turn settler factories.

It's 1550 BC and I have 13 towns and 324 score (I've kept lux high from the beginning).

yeah, I've seen his thread.

So far, in my first milking game, I don't like it. I'm always mad at myself and say "You idiot, you just wasted a food." But I think I'm doing good scorewise, have no milking experiance, so I don't know if it sucks or if it's great. I think I'm on a big island only shared with the Zulu. Probably I'll attack them with knights, as when I'm done expanding that's where I'll be in tech.

Edit: Something I'm loving about this map is the massive jungles/marsh. Some may frown upon that, but what's under jungles/marsh ?

True. You need to have an area that is online quickly too, though. What I find hard about the early game is the ICS-ing. I always much rather use CxxxC, but the end game calls for CxxxxC.
So ideally, the early map should look like this: CxCxxC, where the bold C's are permanent and the middle C can be razed later.

Why CXXXXC? Is there risk of hitting the city limit on a huge map? I go for best spot, usually on river for despotic 3 food center city square, or on the coast for food on tiles that don't count towards the domination limit.

Razing cities doesn't seem like it would help score.

Yes, you will hit the city limit of a Huge map, I did in all three games.

You will want to max food and happy people in the latter stages of the game, and a city center does have a citizen working it. A happy citizen is worth twice a specialist, scorewise. In a normal game you almost never build Hospitals, in this game you should. It's best to have an OCP pattern as soon as you've hit Sanitation.

Interesting... I've got this incredible inability to think too far ahead, ie santitation and change game plans that will pay off that much later.
