patch issue

whenever i try and patch after i start it says "would you like to remove the following components" and if i say yes the game gets patched but about 90% of everything is removed. I have dozens of scenarios downloaded, to patch does the game have 2 b "vanilla"?

There are different patches for each of the 3 different versions. Civ3 vanilla is 1.29f, PTW is 1.27f and Conquests is 1.22 .

If you got all of them as a part of Complete (and I think maybe vanilla and PTW as Gold), they are already fully patched.

Any game you began playing before patching will no longer be playable by a patched version.
