Patch waiting area

Just had a bug that caused war weariness to not disappear. Now my capital has -7 amenities from war weariness and can't grow. A lot of luxuries are also used in my capital to counter balance it so many cities have also unhappiness. I think I am going to wait for the patch.

I ran into that as well--worse, war weariness kept *increasing* while I was at peace. A few people had suggested save/reload as that had worked for them, but didn't for me. What did finally work was declaring war on the same guy again--he sued for peace like for 4 turns later and then war weariness finally started going down instead of up.

I don't know if it's what causes the bug, but the first time, I offered him a peace deal, and the 2nd time, I accepted one he offered.

Not a hardcore player, more about 20 hrs a week although more at the moment.
Loving it so much but only dipping in and out, Just started a game with Gilgamesh, what a change.
Avoiding exploits and coping well with the bugs, I'll never stop, slow down perhaps but never stop

I had fun discovering Civ6, but well, I'm at ~ 70 hrs yet, and im sad to say that feels quite enough yet. It never felt so bad, no more turn yet. Even the "broken" vanilla Civ5 never felt this way to me. :/ I'm waiting for some adjustments too.

I think Civ VI has the potential to be a fantastic game, certainly something much richer and more rewarding than Civ V. But I think I'm done with it for now.

The game is just too easy, and there are too many serious problems. Even setting aside the exploits (which I can just avoid), you've got an AI that refuses to protect its settlers. Techs that fly by far too quickly. Chopping and harvesting being absurdly overpowered. Diplomacy being a worldwide hatefest. And, worst of all, carpets of enemy warriors in the modern era. If I played a Civ IV Deity game where every AI hated my guts on turn 100, I'd be very concerned. Even on Civ V that would give me some pause. On Civ VI, the AIs always hate me by that time, and it doesn't matter one bit.

So yeah, I need fixes for these things before I really want to pick up Civ VI again. But I do think it will be a great game in time. This is not like Civ V where I felt like a bunch of the core design decisions were terribly flawed. With some polish, this game will be exceptional.
