PBEM Problem

All was well a week ago. Was able to start a PBEM game fine. Today I went to start a new PBEM game and have problems.

I select Multiplayer. Then select Scenario. I then assign players (All human). Then hit Launch. It loads the scenario, the players, but then freezes at "Assigning team colors".

I then have to do alt,ctrl,del to shut down Conquests.

I have completely uninstalled Civ3, PTW, and C3C. Then loaded each with its particular current patch. I then tried the MP option for a couple of the generic conquests scenarios...and I still get the same problem. COmputed freezes while attempting to "Assign team colors".

Does anyone have a fix for this?

I had the same problem. but my computer had been acting up anyways so i had to reinstall computer. And reinstalled civ3 and it worked
