maybe we should put it to a vote and majority rules??

i would vote blind map, i would prefer someone made the map, assigned passwords (or we could have sent them our passwords) then started the pbem and just skipped everyone's first turn. but of course since i will have access to the map it is pretty easy for me to vote for a blind map :lol:

patience, patience. I am also eager to get it started, but it is better to get it right. Loulong had a few other questions & i just replied to him, I am not sure about his location but I don't think he and I have compatible timezones. I am sure he will get to it soon despite his schedule, but I do not expect it tonight. I will start it as soon as I receive the file back from him, unless Mendax decides to go ahead without the extra units and such, but I would like them in.
 
I am in France so different time zones alright !

I have sent you the file a few hours ago and it "should" be OK and complete now.
 
once again, LouLong, thank you very much for all your work on the map:).

additional starting bonuses were necessary. w/o them the first 20-30 would be extremely boring, as in RaR settler-type units are far more expensive than in original game.

about a planning phase e-mail, that BkGreatWarnut wrote about... i'll send it when i receive first turn - predesad has a random civ!

Sorry for the slight delay. I have started working nights and am trying to balance 20 hours of work with 16 credit hours all in one week... Anyways, game sent onward to Platon.

Alright...just wondering where the file is exactly and what the hold up is. This is only the second turn!!! I really like this Mod and the map that goes with it and hope this will get moving at the speed that Mendax had also hoped for...

By the way, prolly post after every turn and make sure your e-mail sends and receives properly...especially the first few turns. Also, make sure that you check in on this thread often, since you are after all subsribed to it.

this is disappointing that the game is stalled already, let's please try to be aware of the turn and if it is posted that it was sent to you and you don't get it then please say something
 
All we have to do is GPS after every turn and ussually post a date... That is ussually enough... Besides, we will be meeting each other fairly early in this game (3 tribes and small map).

Anyways, please get this game back to me soon!!! There are only four of us so this thing should move at a turn every day...sometimes every 2 days!!!

Thanks for letting us know that you have received and played the game. And as long as you notify someone about being away for a period of time as you have, that is fine. I will just have to start practicing play against the AI...
