I am using a headset I got at RadioShack (one of there generic in house ones). Its a technically a wireless Stereo headset but its plugged into a adapter so I can use it for my computer and it has worked great for a longtime. Recently I have started to have problems with it. It has started to only work in one side and only works on the other side when I am adjusting the volume or putting some pressure on the volume wheel. Are my headphones just starting to show signs of where and tear or is it something else. Could the rechargeable batteries need to be replaced? I do use them a lot, for several hours each day.

The wires are tearing. They're on their way out.

I am looking for replacement wireless headphones for my PC. I can use stereo ones as well since I have a stereo to USB adapter. I need a range of around 150 feet to allow good freedom of movement and for a price of less then 100 US dollars. I also need them to be reliable. Also please do not recommend wired headsets, I am not interested in them. I also do not need a microphone for them, just headphones. Also my preference is for them to go over my head.

If you used them for a long time and worked great, now you can only hear from one side, It must be broken, as the same experience with you, two month ago only one side of my PC headphone can work properly, sometimes left and sometimes right, at first I pulled the wire as I thought that the problem can be resolved but it was useless after many times, and also changed another computer (the neighbor's)but the same problem appeared, so I bought another new one, now it is fine
