Pericles, Prince, Large Continents - 1600 AD, Requesting Tips and Criticism

I cannot play on Prince and higher. This game is typical. I've been warring with Sitting Bull since the game started. His Dog Warriors chewed me up. I also over-expanded early to grab all this juicy land and sunk my economy for about 2000 years.

I hope this save game works! I have BlueMarble installed. If that screws it up I'll uninstall it and play another and hopefully the experienced and wizzened experts can tell me where I'm going wrong.

Just tried to open it and couldn't, so it looks like you'll have to uninstall BlueMarble and start another game, as you guessed. You might not want to play all the way to 1600, though--an earlier save might make it easier to see where you're going astray.

It crashed for me as well, and i have Blue Marble installed (that shouldn't be the problem)

Do you have Solvers unofficial patch installed? I think it fixes those crashes.

I'll dig up the start save. I didn't mean to go to 1600 it's just where I ended for the night. I'll post an earlier save next time too.

Here' 4000BC and 150AD. loaded and re-saved them, hopefully they'll work.

I installed Blue Marble and Solver's patch but still couldn't open the files--something about failing to uncompress the data. Anyone know what could be causing that?
