I'm play on Emperor/Epic/Standard, have 2 cities, and I'm currently saving 1 social policy for when I get to the Industrial Era because I already have 3 completed Branches. And I'm in the lead in science, religion, and money. The latter 2 by a landslide. And, because of that, I'm passively getting ahead diplomatically because I'm guaranteed to win any City-State quest that entails generating the most of a yield in a certain amount of turns. The stacking Science/Culture bonus in Arabia's UA is ridiculous. And hilariously fun. Probably because I love Social Policies.

Edit: ARABIA. my bad

So are you talking about Persia as in the title, Arabia as in the post or both? I'm confused.

If Arabia yes, I agree, they seem overpowered. There's just too many historical events for bonuses to be like that.

If Persia I don't really agree but then I didn't try them out much. From what I've seen you get more and longer Golden Ages but that's pretty much it as far as this civ is concerned.

Sorry about that. But yeah - I knew immediately that Arabia was going to be broken once I saw that UA. That needs to be toned down to 2, max. Maybe even 2 of either Culture or Science and 1 of the other.

I can win any type of Victory that I choose right now. This is insane. And incredibly fun. I mean, I actually went Freedom. I've never even considered it to be worth it. And I have Cultural Victory disabled. I, as I usually do, only have Domination and Diplomatic Victories enabled. But the yields, man. THE YIELDS.
