I'm sorry I do NOT want to join this group, I will NOT offer ANY support and I think that war is how we got here today? War, may be a flaw in human behavior but most of our technological developments have been succesful because of war. If there was no war there would be no computers to play Civilisation III hmmm? Computers being develped during WWII for code-breaking. What do you think now?

Please...Although I enjoy a good fight every now and then peace does have it advantages. Remember that war is only a tool for obtaining money and power. Those technological advances were developed to obtain more money and power. War is not a disease, it is a symptom. You must cure the disease to alleviate the symptom.

I feel peace is good, but war can have it's advanatages at time. (in real life, i onlly think war is good when going against an evil, such as the Nazi's and Hitler, who btw was a vegitatian and for animal rights yet his own dog coward from him, then he tested cyanide pills on his dog). But, that's real life not Civ III, I make a distinction. Also with real life war, while I recognize that war has brought us many advances, such as computers, that doesn't justify the greatloss of life that occures in real war. So at least on the real world section of things, I feel war is never "good" but sometimes neccesary. In Civ III, If I want it and I can take it.... "Let loose the dogs of War."

In my own games, I only fight if it means defending the well-being of my people. I will not war with my neighbors if it means brutally murdering others while attempting to gain a little more money or land. We should support the military only for defensive purposes and keeping our great democracy alive.

Hey, there are tons of Hitler myths out there. The US military actively pursued myths that he was in Antartica, stopping operations that seached for him in the 1960's.

I'll join, I'm anti-war in both real life and in the game.
say no LONG wars!
Though I do think that recapturing cities are neccessary.
But because in the game we are against a computer programme, Ithink that the best way to end a war is with a quick assult and take a city or two. In my opinion that is much better a solution than just sit there defending and praying for the AI to agree to peace whilst whatching soldiers falling in battle, cities changing hands, children left to die, citizens are being mercilessly killed by the AI.......
Don't get the wrong idea though, I am against war, but i'm more against the sufferings wars bring.

PS. I do think that wars should be avoided at all cost except when the soveriety or dignity of the state is at risk.

Willaim, as a self declared Warmonger, I think why should our great armies waste our time on a puny country, but one thing why, why are we fighting that war is bad when as you said its a "computer programme" theirs no point in wasting time protesting against war when its an AI. But in reality i am against war!! I THINK WE SHOULD FIGHT TIL' THE DEATH!!
