Pirates (Modular)

The units were taken originally from FfH then alot of people used them like me and Amra for their mods.

This is a combination from Amra's and what i used in the Japanese MOD i made and a few more changes of leaders i just put in.

In the popular modern imagination, pirates of the classical period were rebellious, clever teams who operated outside the restricting bureaucracy of modern life. In reality, many pirates ate poorly, did not become fabulously wealthy, and died young.

Paully (The Parrot): This is were the original catch phrase was formed from "Paully Want a Cracker."

Some one can help me? I don't find how add the pirates in the game.
I have download the file and i copy it in "...Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods". Then in launch the game and i load the mod all works but i don't find the "pirate empire" in the civilizations.

please help me!!

This works but is it ment to evrey like 10 secs change back to the "old" textures and then turen back?

That means you have it set in the Options area of the Graphics to Single unit, need to change that.

Hi! I don't know it this thread is inactive or not, but I really need to ask some things.

So, I downloaded your Pirate-module, but I really can't get it to work! I followed your instructions, and I made all those folders you said. I found the file with the Assets-folder, but when I open it, I can't see any "Modular XML Loading". It's all just saying that nothing has been loaded..

Now, I'm pretty new at all this, so I might be doing it wrong. Would really appreciate an answer!

All you have to do is place the pirates mod in the Custom Civ folder and then Start Advanced and choose Copy Civ for the mod, it will work, guaranteed.

I've tried that numerous times. It simply won't work The Mexican-mod that was added in the link you sent won't work either. None of them shows when I'm about to choose which civ I want to play as.

Dang i forgot i changed them around, sorry: You need to name Custom Civilizations to Custom_Civilizations for the Mexican civ.

yeppers thats it, i tested it, and it works perfectly. Are you selecting advanced, load a mod, select Copy Civ, then it should say Copy Civ in right hand corner, then select Pirates.

You know what? I figured out what was wrong.. I didn't have the right version. I hadn't downloaded the newest patch :O But now when I've downloaded and installed it, it all works just fine! Thanks! Wouldn't have figured it out if it wasn't for you. Goldstar for you!

Btw, your mod is AWESOME!
