Play with just 1gb ram

Has anyone tray to play with just 1GB of RAM??? You could, it crash, or just dident run????

I have 2 GB Ram. 1 GB is used by Vista. With the second one I can play duell, tiny and small maps in strategic view. Standard maps crash often - I won a standard map game against a single enemy though.

So maybe you could start the game, it might crash very soon and it would look like the game didn`t run.

If at least your graphics card is good, small maps are still doable with 1GB, but it'll be slow.

I have direct X9, XP, 2Gig Ram, IntelCore2 T5500 1.66Ghz, Nvidea Geforce Go 7600, and I play huge maps at high resolution to turn 1100.

I also have patience, which helps a lot.

I have a desktop i've built, and run it with 1gb of ram. I have a nice graphics card and a quadcore cpu tho so i'm still able to play all map sizes and speeds. Marathon/huge can take a few minutes to 5+ minutes late game though.

overall with 1gb, the game i still very playable for me. Although, i'm looking to buy some more soon.
