It was cool, but dont worry i didnt cheat to win easy lol. What i did was build up a empire far of avance of everyone else on a big map and then switch to the weakest empire. It was fun, but i didnt manage to stop the Japanese from launching a ship in the 900 ad era. Does anyone else mess around with the cheat mode in Test of Time?

Well in my very first game of Civ 2, on Prince Level no less, I looked at the Egyptian civ and said to myself "Let's help them out". Egypt only had 2 cities total. What I did was build up a couple of cities near their land and let the Egyptians take them.

Here's how the game went in general:

A Prince map w/5 other civs, medium map, restless barb tribes. Starting position near the South Pole toward the southeast along w/Spain & Carthaginian people. In the early B.C. period, I immediately had war w/Spain & their 3 cities. They fell real quickly to my chariots & horseman. Later on, the mediocre 5 city Carthaginians built on what Spain had left in that sector, but fell to some nice knights. Early conquest in despotism.

To the north was the 2 city Egyptians. Even with my handicapping them 2 more cities (Alexandria and Cairo) its obvious that they're not in the game as well. For the diplomats sabotaged Alexandria into a halt w/help from the destroyer (in early 1800s) that destroyed the lone fortified musketeer! A galleon w/knight & crusader walked into the city. Egypt is now a 3 city tech researcher, but they look a bit clem.

However the Vikings (about 8 cities) and Celts (10 + cities) to the north amongst the strips of land to the north look very competitive in the 1870s. I've switched to Republic to build up for the ending sequence.

The only cheating I might have done was during the goodie hut period when I saved/loaded to prevent barbarian surprise. And yes all sorts of people use the cheat menu to enhance their game or to just win. Its like perfect. Righteous.

Uh oh.

Its time for Little House on the Prairie.

Gotta run.

I have created my first scerneo using the cheat mode its sucks as i havent really figgured out what everything does.
