When i play as a civ or a government i try to play in charactar as that civ or government.it is fun and interesting to take on the role of a civ or government and then having to conduct myself in accordance.how about you?
depends on which civ and which map I'm playing on.
In scenarios (i.e.-war in the Pacific) I try to be as realistic as possible, but when playing a random map as the Hittites, frankly, I don't think I'd be able to give an accurate representation of them, so I just do whatever (which happens a lot)
When I play as Bismark I play in character. But that's because I'm a pretty Machiavellian guy, and Bismark is like God to me, so I essentially try to be like him all the time.

Bismarck was quite a fellow.I wish that my own country had a real Bismarck right now. Imagine the US with a REAL LEADER and a REAL GOVERNMENT run as a REAL NATION.
By deliberately provoking wars, planning decades in advance, using diplomacy and war as two ends of the same hammer, that sort of thing. Bismarck was the ultimate realist.
