Please Help: feature transfer error

I just bought the game and when the game is close to finishing installing the following feature transfer error pops up;


Feature: Default feature
Component: Civ4 English
File: D:\data3.cab
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

Any help would be great thanx.

Does your disk show any signs of dirt or scratches? That is the most likely cause.
