I'd like to ask a small question....

Why do some of you guyshate the Zulus so much?

Many peole don't hate Zulus. You should have seen the war that were in the forum a while ago between the Zulu cult and the anti-Zulu cult.

It was then, when I tride to convince them to not fight, I got the reputation of beeing a peace freak.

Well, i personally don't trust any civ that is unsofisticated. I like to bomb cities like London, tear down fortifications near Madrid, poison water suplies in Boston, occupy Paris with a bunch of armor. But i dont really have the save pleasure when i the some zulu or babylonian city. That's why i dont like the persians, indians, sioux, mongols, carthaginians or vikings either.
Sure, they're good for your history lessons, and the knowledge actually helped me once nicely, but not when it comes to world domination.
Who would YOU rather conquer? The americans or the zulus?

Everytime they are in my game, they just run into my way and start treating me like dirt. Thats why sometimes, I play as Zulu just to avoid fighting against them. VERY annoying.

anyways, I think the Zulu's are pretty cool, they usually are 1st or 2nd in the games I play.

I agree with Weimar, the Zulus are always up there with the most powerful in my games.

Well actually I don't know if it's a coincidence but the zulus often start the game near me...which means that I've never let them grow enough untill now.
When I play a in the large world map though, my favourite thing to do is to wait a little (until 100 AC) and then send a few ships to take their capital which is always playced down there in south africa...

Well in my last full game the Zulus was my neighbour and nearly destroyed me! I quitted the game before that happened, but they usually demand insane tributes for peace - because I'm untrustworthy and they broke the peace treaty! Okay...

Yes, it is clear that the Zulus must be destroyed every time for the sake of the Human Race. They never build any worthwhile empires, but at least they expand to make them an interesting opponent. All the same, there are few greater joys than denying their pleas for mercy, a wiping them off the planet. Wel, few, except doing the same to the Americans when playing as the Soviet Union/ Russia
