Possible config.ini mess-up

Okay in my config.ini file of the game i have my Victory Conditions tally to "11111111" and i do have the slightest remembrance in the back of my mind that this had 6 "1's", and could be the reason why i haven't had any victory screens or even recorded victories when i finished my last two games after the last patch..

can anyone affirm my thoughts?

That's what mine say too and I just finished up a win (science) so that won't be the reason.

My guess is you had clicked 'off' highest score victory when setting up a custom game and then changed a setting (like your civ or map type). When you do that for some reason* all of the victory conditions get checked off. So if you don't turn on the ones you want when you start, you won't ever win (or lose)

I had all victory options turned on as normal.. in my last game i also had a would-be science victory but all i got was the space shuttle animation... and a trophy notication saying i won it... but nothing else

you dont have automatic updates on? also the game auto saves, check there.

so your game is illegal then. you cant win the game without Steam, and since you dont use Steam, you cant win.
