Possible to play Warlords and BTS without Vanilla?

Hi,
I have the expansion packs but not the original disc for Civ IV Vanilla so I can't install them. I was wondering if there was a way to play the expansion packs without vanilla?

Unfortunately the answer to your question is no. They are expansions to the original game rather than complete games in themselves, so you need the original game installed.

If you are looking to get another copy of plain civ 4, avoid the digital downloads as many people can not get the disc based expansions to install on top of a digital version of plain Civ 4. Best to stick to another disc copy.
