Hi,

If a person has one windows and one linux computer but in different places, is it possible to set things up with CIV IV Complete so that they can start a game on the Windows machine and then continue it on the Linux machine ?

Using Dropbox folders ? USB-keys ? Steam version of the game ?

Or is it a waste of time just trying...?
It for a potential gift so I cannot try it out myself before asking.

Thanks!

I'm not a dropbox user myself, so i don't know if you can set it up to sync the saves automatically.

But in principle it should work. There is no real linux version of the game. On linux, you run the game using the wine libraries. So basically when you are running the game on linux you are also running the windows version. You can load games saved while playing on windows in linux (and vice versa) no problem, as long as both game installs are patched to the same version.
