This is an arrow attack for the CivIII Privateer unit, in case you want it to attack with arrows instead of cannons. It's not perfect, but it'll make do.;)

How to use it:

You can either backup your ini. file and replace it with the one included in the download, and put the PrivateerArrow.flc in your Privateer folder...

or

You can place the uncompressed Privateer folder in your mod's folder with the two files included and the game will automatically look for the original files (like the run, default, etc.) in the original CivIII Unit's "Privateer" folder.

hmmm... a nice idea... but a frigate with arrow attack?

...

Actually, it's for my Mystara mod, pre-smokepowder. I just thought that I'd post it here in case anyone else wanted to use the privateer without gunpowder for fantasy mods or whatever.:)

Good idea, even if we still can see the canons on the privateer's sides... this should be used in many fantasy mods. And don't be ashamed to build whatever your mod needs ;)

Maybe this could be used as an AttackA, whereas the Cannon attack could be Attack B.

Either way, this is a really good unit! :goodjob:

Uploading any new unit for us is always appreciate by me.:)

It`s only a while back as I have dl a unit with these ugly green shadows.
btw: Anybody remembering why the modern shadows now looks different ? I really like to know that. I have missed/not found the thread(s) where the reason for that was being explained.
Wasn`t it because of the many different terrain packs which has been released by community members ? So the units show better/flawless on them ?:mischief:

Thanks for the positive comments, everyone.:)

I wasn't really ashamed :), I was just playing around because of what W.i.n.t.e.r said.

General 666,
I'm not too sure what you mean about the shadows. I think either way it looks the same when the game converts the green to a grey shadow.
