Priviteer - Cant load Units in Europe?

I try to capture goods from Other European Powers and go diractly to Europe and sell

I buy units or get at dock free units I can't load them to Priviteer?

I think Privateer is supposed to be (described as) only capable of transporting Goods ? No ?

Edit: Btw. You want your privateer to come back into action fast, and take new booty, not ferry troops around
Just leave the units you bought at the docks, unitll a cargo ship can pick them up, they won't go anywhere.

Unload your captured goods in one of your colonies and send your Privateer out to fight again. Then use one of your trade ships to take the goods to Europe and that ship can bring home those free units.

I usually make it a priority to get FF Cabral to cut that time down to manageable levels. Typically I produce only Political Points until I get Cabral...and Minuit. Between the time gained and the money saved I more than make up for delays in colonial infrastructure.

this is a "feature" of the vanilla C4C

anyone know how to disable it? xml or dll?

admittedly Privateers are better used to attack low level defense ships, but once all such ships have been beaten, it would be useful to use Privateers for unit transport
