Problem with Ottoman graphics (install problem?)

When playing GOTM 20 (downloaded all prior packages separately - not in the bundle), communications with the Ottomans will sometime boot the game out and I'm back in Windows (XP). When communication with the Ottomans does occur, the graphic is shady and looks different many times (green tinge, grayish - it just varies).

What should I do? Download the GOTM19 package again (will that affect the GOTM20 download?) and see if that solves the problem. Or does anyone else have the same problem?

Playing the GOTM Conquest version - hope to survive to the A.D.

In general, contact one of the Gotm staff pricately by PM or email instead of risking spoiling parts of the game by posting a public discussion thread,

We want to solve any probelms that may come up, but we also want to respect the other players wished to not have part of their game revealed or spoiled just because you may have a unique problem that comes up.

It is hard for many players to know what may be a spoiler and what may not, so just follow the procedures outline in all the game setup instructions (in about 10 different places, always saying the same thing) and send an email to gotm@civfanatics.net to address technical issues.

This problem sounds like you have the files downlaoded properly but may not have them positioned correctly.

Contact me by email and I will ask you some further questions to locate and fix the setup problem.

It appears that in the first download, one of the .pcx files became corrupted. I downloaded GOTM19 again and reloaded the files - everything is okay.

Sorry about the title - wasn't trying to create any spoiler.

At this point, why don't you delete this thread.
