Problems installing Warlords- Can't detect original Civ 4

I bought the original Civ 4 and Beyond the Sword from Direct 2 Drive, and just got warlords on disc. When I try installing it it tells me that a new version of Civ 4 is available and that it'll start patching, then it stops and says it can't detect the original, then shuts down the installation. I just reinstalled both Civ 4 and Beyond the Sword, and patched BTS. I tried patching Civ 4 but the patch from D2D just starts un-installing Civ 4. I tried again and its still not working. Any help would be appreciated.
