Everytime I try to launch Civ4 Beyond the Sword, I am met with a ton of XML launcher issues. I can ok through all of them and the game will kind of load except none of the menus display correctly.
I have tried running through Steam (windows version installed via Play on Linux).
Any advice?
I have also already tried all of the .dll's found on the wine hq page.
I also tried following the guide posted here and gives the same results.
Ok I got it working! I uninstalled everything (wine control) then removed my .wine dir. From here I had to do WINEARCH=win32 and then winecfg. That configured my wine to 32bit (I'm running a 64bit OS and didn't think about that.)
From there I followed the guide up top except on my over ride libraries I added D3dx9_26 through 32 (I dunnot if its needed or not but it works now)
