what about a standard in thread name's for proposal's ,discussion's ,negotiation's and such? because it can sometime's be very hard to spot the important discussion going around in this game with all those thread's.that way we have a standard for citizin's bringing in proposal's ,for engaging in discussion's or negoiation's when the matter's arise.

reply by acm wich raises point's:
I like this idea, however there's a thin line between an important discussion and a less important one. We could create a standard naming for important discussions/proposals, but there are a few issues with it: who decides if the proposal is important ? how does one measure the importance of such proposal ? For example: pellaken, among others, thinks that the city naming is VERY important. But I don't think it's important, so I don't want to read that thread.

Therefore ,this suggestion could need further refinement. Therefore this proposol thread.
I'll add information on this later when the discussion has got some form and i can ellaborate on the statements made by fellow politician's.

I would propose that the #.# system (e.g. 3.1) be used by cabinet members only. This would therefore designate official government business and should be discussed/voted by all members possible.

I have to apologize for not using the method in the polls I've been doing in Hippo's stead. I will make sure any others that I do will carry them. I'm assuming that the numbers go: Government Term.Poll Number on that topic.

I think that's about all we can do. Allow citizens to present discussions, but they should not name them with that system. Let the people decide by looking at the post title if they are important and read them when they like.

No problem with the naming convention but can we have threads put into certain forum titles.ie.

Sticky & game conventions
Turns
General Discussion
Science
Trade
internal affairs
foreign
provinces

This will allow people easy access to vote and participitate in areas they feel most interesting..

I guess this is a 'mod-thing' that only CM can do

What do other think
