IDG2-G2-C3 ~ IDG Community vs CFC

CFC has been charged with unfair play. Specifically, they have been charged with purposefully delaying their formal complaint against C3B (Case IDG2-G2-C2) in order to gain an unfair advantage in the game. This is a serious charge and the admin staff has spent a considerable amount of time analyzing the data available to us and considering/discussing the issues involved. We greatly appreciate your patience during this time.

It took a bit of time and quite alot of digging through e-mails and forum posts, but Luc and I finally managed to reconstruct a timeline of events in order to help us develop a clear picture of what transpired. We also spent quite a bit of time browsing through posts both here and in private forums around the IDG community, including, but not necessarily limited to CFC.

After an exhaustive investigation, the admin staff has unanimously concluded that neither CFC's failure to hold the save nor the timing of their complaint was done deliberately or with malicious intent in order to gain an advantage in the game. Furthermore, we see nothing to indicate that CFC altered their plans in the game to coincide with any possible ruling from outside the game. To that end, the admin staff rule that CFC is not guilty.

@Rik: Ye, I don't understand either. These things are not connected. It is a game of civ first not of lawyer skill. Played by the rules which we have followed and C3B have violated twice. But were punished for that.
