I'm having one of my easiest games yet. :)

I set the "Elimination" victory condition on (ptw only). There is this small island the ai keeps trying to settle. Waiting for them is a bunch of military that I put there. I didn't settle the island, just hanging out on it. When the ai plants a base on it, declare war.. faction gone.

Makes for a real easy game. Let them come to me. :) Only 2 civs left to go. They'll try to settle that island eventually. No guess work involved on how heavily defended that base is, makes for an easy win.

you are evil!

try mass regicide and regicide.
there will be 6 ( or 7?) kings per nation. it is enough to kill one to get Civ annihilated.

and beliave or not- AI keeps them in different cities. so it is alomost like eliminaiton- first city you attack usually has king.

It's easy anyways because the ai expands way too slow at first. The greeks are great to use when playing elimination.

They don't always expand to slowly if they are on harder diffuculties like diety or emperor. It's kind of obvious that the AI would expand slower on chieftan since, well, its chieftan ;)

I never said anything about playing on chieftain. I'm talking about monarch/emperor. They will build several units before settlers.

Mass Regicide is the easiest to exploit. You get 7 kings, and must lose all of them before you lose. Keep 1 king at home, and send the rest out exploring. Having 6 scouting units (7 if playing an expansionist civ) you'll uncover the whole map in no time. The AI won't attack your kings, unless war is declared (they treat your kings just like any other unit- they won't sneak attack your king in other words). And if feeling risky, you can use your king to attack the AI workers and get tons of free workers. The AI won't use the kings themselves for attacking purposes and if they only have 1 or 2 warriors in their capital, they will leave them in there as defense instead of attacking one of your kings.
