PTW Won't Start Possible Solution

Well PTW wouldn't start for me double clicking the icon didn't do anything. So I trried the Trouble Shooter and it said you have to be logged in as Administrator. I was logged in as me, with Administrator priviledges, but this is apprently not enough (worked fine for Civ 3). You have to actually be logged in as "Administrator" for this program to run.

I am more than slightly pissed at this. I will have to log out and re log in as Administrator each time I want to run PTW?!?!?!? This is piss poor software engineering and sqa.

Please tell me this is soon to be patched!!!

Note: I have Windows 2000 Professional

Can you be more specific? Which icon? What type of game are you starting? PBEM? MP? To start a PBEM game, your first password is the 'admin password', then yours. All the admin does is, you can enter the admin password for any player to drop them. (i.e., they've left, and aren't playing...)

I mean the Icon to start the executable program Play the World: "E:\Program Files\CivIII\CIV3PTW\Civilization3X.exe"
