Purity 1 - Withdrawal Chance

So as an alternative to base Purity and Purity 1331, I was thinking that granting explorers a 50% withdrawal chance (effectively Civ V's Surivalism 3) might be a good alternative. I see where to make the change in UnitPerks. However, it appears affinities can only use PlayerPerks and I do not see a way call a UnitPerk from a PlayerPerk. Can anyone think of a way to do this?

Also if I can get this to work should I make it the full survivalism 3 by adding heals every turn? Doing so would basically make them immune to miasma (-10 +10) and would give them recovery from aliens so I think it makes sense

I have yet to use lua. Will wait for the sdk to be finalized for it then go ahead and try.

I was also thinking of doing some round about way like seeing if I could get the headquarters to grant it since you can call buildings from player perks
