Putting music on my Micro

OK ive put music on my Creative Zen Micro before but now when i attach the USB cord to the MP3 player and then to the computer i click on the Media Explorer and it says that its not connected! can someone help me. PLEASE!

Do you usb ports still work?

Is it maybe a cable problem, do you get anything by jiggling them, especialy near the ends?

ah ha! i re-installed the explorer and then restarted my comp. and now it works!
