QSC - acronym not listed in War Academy

What does QSC mean? I see the term bandied about in some threads I've been reading, and I can't quite figure it out from the context.

Quick Start Challenge. It's a scoring method for comparing games at turn 80, 1000BC.

Are there any quick start games anymore? Cracker used to have them and I played a few of them. Always came in last, but I learned a lot.
