question about civ advances

does a prerequisite have to be listed before a tech that requires it?

i mean, can i set a tech in slot 5 to require something in slot 6?

im overhauling the tech tree, and i need to know this, cuz if so, id need to do a lot more work!

never mind found out on my own

i noticed that Music Theory is listed right before Education, its prerequisite
