Question: RoM and Mac?

Hey guys/ First off, let me tell you I love this mod. It's basically reinvented Civ for me and the friends I have shown it to feel the same.

I've only had one problem, my laptop seems to be too slow for this in the late game, as it tends to get memory allocation failures, or take so long to load a turn the game disconnects from timeout.

I've been using my desktop, which runs everything fine, but my friend has been using the laptop with problems. he has a Macbook, but RoM doesn't load on it. he installed Civ and the latest patch and everything, but it fails to load the XMLs, and gives a normal screen with an inaccessible civilopedia and game.

Is there any way to get this mod working on Mac? I couldn't find anything about it in the forum threads or Google.

Seriously though, Aspyr, the company that made the BTS for Mac, didn't make it moddable, like the PC version, your friend got shafted.

I recommend you use bootcamp and the PC version.
