Questions about smilies

I did them myself; I wouldn't steal although I do not normally redo expressions (kinda tricky). Done other sets like Bart Simpson smilies, and many sci-fi smilies.

The URL is from an ISP account in the family; I wouldn't read too much into it

Nah, if he wants them he can have them but I wasn't trying to push these, but I would edit them on request.

When I mentioned it I just thought such a big community should have it's own style instead of a mish mash of common smilies. At no time was I suggesting CF adopt anything of mine

Besides, I would need help when it comes to the big shooting ones. I can do animations but only simple things like a [ ]

I draw each frame seperately which I think is the wrong way to achieve long running sprites (5+ frames)

Here's my serious attempt at making a smiley style that fits the character of civfanatics.

Dunno if anyone else likes it? It would not be hard to make a set off it.

These have not been optimised. The software I use for that is kaput; was working 2 days ago!

Because I do not know if my efforts are in vain, I shall not do any more without some encouragement. Seems probable that it's a waste of time

I like the blue glass-bead I did more, except the white band between the eyes looks too strong. Tried to fix that and now the red one looks less like a glass bead

Maybe glass is a bad idea
