Quick question...

Hi there,

I am sorry in advance if this question has been asked/answered before. I tried searching for the answers myself, both here and on Google, but couldn't get a satisfactory answer.

Here's my situation. I purchased Civ V at Wal-Mart recently, for use on my home computer, which is NOT connected to the internet. I cannot at this time afford internet at my apartment so I go to the library or McDonald's or Dunkin' Donuts, etc. and use the internet with my ages-old laptop. Is there ANYWAY at all to play Civ V on my home machine without access to the internet? Or must I have access so Steam can be running? Thanks in advance for the advice and help.

You can go offline mode once you get it installed and patched through the internet.

You need Internet to install and patch the game once, after that you can play offline.
