Quick technical help please

Help, my 2 year old just pulled all the keys off my laptop (I was looking after my other child), in the process she pressed some keys and now my menu/civlopedia/advisor keys and unit action keys have disappeared. I have now put them all back on. How do I get my game keys to reappear or how do i get to the menu from here?

Either <Backspace> (somewhere right above your <return> key, should have a left pointing arrow on it) or <Forward Delete> (don't know where that would be on a laptop). I am sure those are the keys with which to toggle the buttons etc on/off and to toggle between side/bottom, but I can't remember which was which atm.

You're right LE.

The Delete key on my lap top toggled the buttons on and off the screen.
