R.E.D WW2 Mod not working?

I've installed both the mandatory WW2 mad and the data file as well as RED mod pack. I can access the menus and the start screen (where I can choose leader difficulty...etc.). But as soon as I start the game the Civ 5 crashes. I have the latest versions of all the mods.

install it manually, if you havent already.
also the mod works with very few mods, so try disabling every mod that isnt RED WWII
