R. L. Stevenson is very good

It is what prince adam of eternia speaks. Even when delirious infront of castle grayscull.
If I recall my MotU mythos correctly, though, wasn't one of his parents originally an Earthperson...?

OT: I have read Treasure Island several times, and J&H quite recently. Yes, they're good. Have not read Kidnapped, but maybe Gutenburg has it...

Also amused to learn that 'Thrawn Janet' is a short-story title. In Julian May's Galactic Milieu trilogy (which I re-read a couple of months back), one of the supporting characters, living on a Scottish-ethic colony-planet, was given that nickname (though never to her face) by another character, himself an author in-universe. Although May doesn't specifically name-check RLS, it does seem likely that this was a direct lift/ tribute/ homage.
