I know you cant raze a capital, But "can" you raze a city that was retaken from a trade? Also can you raze a city in a map you created from the SDK maker. I made a map then played. I did NOT check the NOT ALLOWED TO RAZE CITIES BUTTON. But when I made it to the the other side I destroyed my 1st town and raze was not an option.

OR how do you destroy a city PERIOD!!

Thanks

I don't think you can raze a city that you originally settled. You can't raze any cities that were originally capitals, whether from a civ or a city-state. You can raze any other city I believe.

Yes you can. You'll occasionally see AI doing that when you gift/sell them worthless cities.

I don't think do. :hmm:

Gift the city to your enemy DoW him & raze the city. :p. (Not sure if that is possible)
Seriously why would you want to do that. If the city is that worthless & you realised that its of no use after settling, you can sell it to an AI for a good price. ;)

You can't raze one of your own cities at all, if you reconquer your own city it just goes back to being one of your cities. There is no option to puppet/raze/etc.

Right. So the only way is to sell it to someone else & hope that somebody else would attack that city & raze it.

You can blow up your own cities with nuclear missiles, removing them from the map
