Religion and Alignment

I'm still hoping for a "sliding-scale" alignment mechanic, where many things (religion, civics, techs researched, units/heroes/buildings/wonders/rituals built, and, of course, random event choices) all influence alignment. Having a single event change alignment seems a bit extreme.

[ad]Once I get around to updating my options mod it'll include an option to influence religion spreading by alignment, making for example order more likely to spread to good civs but less likely to spread to evil ones. Also, missionaries will be much worse at spreading the religions. Otherwise as it is now, with the chance being at or close to 100%, there's no way to increase it.[/ad]

Unfortunently I'm very busy right now so I don't know when I'll be able to update it.

I do like the idea of being able to choose any religion with any leader, it increases the variability of games. It is true that by midgame most nations will be RoK or Fol, but if you pump enougth adepts rapidly, you'll easily convert civs that don't have FoL or RoK as their favorite religion. Given choice, they often choose their favorite. It's all up to the human player to convert some factions. (I odly succeeded in converting Bannors to veil, but it turned out to be a temporary measure to restrain my expansion(the 'oh yeah I praise your faith very much, invade another guy' trick), the AI can be quite viscious)
