Remake a game with modern settings

X:Com

Good effort by Firaxis, and I did enjoy the game, but it had a different feel. And too many rules changes. I want unlimited rockets (not unlimited, but what you could carry like in the original), and want to destroy the whole map, dammit!

Alpha Centauri. You could add in the expansion civilizations and you'd have a decent amount for a game on a huge map. This game could really benefit from a redo. I never cared for the original graphics that much. Only rule change I would do is not allow other civilizations building cities close to your borders to push your borders back. I just replayed the game last week, and that was annoying me. Great game I still play a couple times a year.

Diablo. I know I harp on action rpg's, but there's a time and place for these. The first one I really haven't played since 2 came out. I doubt it will even run on my computer.

Planescape: Torment. Only change I'd do is full voice acting along with the updated graphics.

edit: forgot about Master of Magic. I only played this game a little bit, and the game was more complex than I remember. I have a feeling I didn't really utilize all the features of the game (I think I was playing too easy a level). Would love to replay this with modern graphics.
